    CTC Messaging Example: “Girls in Engineering: Shaping the Future.” This brochure for an Arizona State University program invites female students “who want to learn more about the role engineers and engineering play in our lives” to take part in activities that will help apply “creativity to solve engineering design challenges.” The brochure asks “Why Engineering?” and answers with: “Engineering unleashes the spirit of innovation. Engineers constantly discover ways to improve our lives. Engineers help shape the future.”

    Discover Tech is a traveling exhibition taking place in public libraries around the country. The website says the goal of the exhibit is to get visitors to “realize that engineers are real people who, through a creative and collaborative design process, arrive at practical solutions to help solve society's problems.”
