Georgia Tech's Evolving Marketing Efforts

These two videos produced by Georgia Tech share the same title, “Legendary Heritage, Limitless Future” and both incorporate themes of school spirit and the futuristic potential of engineering. However, the ad from 2007, wherein a robotic fan arm typed out the school song on a telephone, is less engaging; the more recent example features a female student working together with a robot to play a more energetic version of the school song. The more recent video has garnered about 21,000 views in two months, as compared with about 8,000 views of the older video over 3 years.
